FINANCING AND VERIFICATION OF FUNDS     Typically, our financing department will be able to provide you with the terms

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION AND PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION ISSUES                
  (1) Prior to Construction - 4 - 8 See items If your job does NOT experience delays in financing or permitting, you can

  (2) Plants and Shrubbery 2 - 3 - - Please relocate any plants within the first few weeks after you sign the sales

  shrubs, flowers, turf or other plants located within or near the construction zone.  
  Occaisonally, minor damage may occur to your grass, particularly during the  
  construction of the foundation.  The degree to which the grass is damaged  
  depends upon current rainfall, the water table and the amount and type of  
  equipment required to build your particular job.  Also, unless noted in the  
  agreement, it is your responsibility to remove any trees and stumps (some are  
  hidden) from the access area.  These unforseen expenses are not  
  covered in the general contract.  
   
  (3) Sprinklers and Underground Utilities/Obstacles Our crews can cap your sprinkler heads, although it is helpful it you can mark  
       (Please handle prior to construction) 1 - 2 the sprinklers beforehand.  Moving, replacing or re-directing your sprinklers  
  days will require the expertise of a sprinkler company.  Keep in mind that sprinkler  
  repairs should be completed AFTER the completion of the sunroom.  
  Occasionally during excavation of the foundation, unforseen items such as  
  electric lines, septic tanks, piping, stumps, concrete or other unforseen  
  obstacles could be encountered which may need to be removed.  These  
  unforseen expenses are not covered in the general contract.  
   
  (4) Yard Access - - - It is your responsibility to leave all gates unlocked and secure all pets during  
        (General Construction Issue) all phases of construction of your sunroom.  Please do not leave children   
  access  to the construction area as hazordous conditions may exist.   Your   
  property will be a construction site and should be treated as such at all times.  
          We are not responisble for gates which may have not been closed by our crews.  
DEMOLITION/TEAR OUT 1 - 3   - If a demolition of your existing room is occurring, please be sure to completely  
  days clear the room of all items (furniture and plants).  Any items you wish to save  
  should be removed prior to the demolition and tear out.  We are not responsible  
          for damage to any existing items.          
FOUNDATION 1 - 3 1 - 10 days 1 week The concrete crew will commence work on the foundation upon completion of  
  days following for inclement permitting as well as financing and homeowner's association approvals.  
  HOA Approval weather or You will receive a courtesy call when your foundation is ready to be poured.  
  and Permitting material The concrete crew will schedule an approximate time, however, keep in mind  
  availability that these times may vary.  Weather, material availability and job size often  
  affect our ability to determine when we will be able to schedule the concrete.  
  Foundation Schedule: The crew will form the job on the first day.  In some  
  counties the forms may need to be inspected prior to pouring the concrete.  
  The final step is the pouring of the concrete, weather permitting.  Small cracks  
  occurring in the slab are normal.  Please call our office if you experience cracks  
          larger than 1/8" (or if you can stand a nickel in the crack).      
PRE-TREATMENT OF 1 1 - 3 days - Pest control treatment is a code requirement.  It is our standard procedure to  
  CONCRETE SLAB day following use our own pest control company.  If you elect to use your own pest company  
  concrete pour to spray the slab, we must be notified of this in advance and a time must be  
  coordinated for the spraying the day before the concrete is poured.  If you elect  
  to have your own pest control company pretreat the slab, we will credit you $75.  
  Keep in mind that you may pay as much as $200-$300 from your own company  
          for this service.  Do not forward the bill to us.  You are responsible for this cost.  
SUNROOM CONSTRUCTION                    
  (1) Build Room 3 - 5 0 - 4 - Approximately 1-4 weeks following the completion of the foundation, your  
  days weeks from sunroom will be delivered to our office.  You will be notified by our production  
  concrete coordinator to schedule the installation of the sunroom.  Installations normally  
  take 3-5 days.  
   
  (2) Custom Processes  
        (A) Custom Transom Glass 7 - 10 days After the room is built we will measure openings and have glass custom made,   
  this will take upwards of 10 days because the glass is tempered.  
        (B) Shingled Roof 14 + days Typically, we will have a roofing subcontractor install shingles which requires us to   
  be worked into the roofers schedule.  
        (C) Brick or Stucco Kneewall 14 + days This process will also require subcontractor, and since it is a small job  they will  
          work the job inbetween larger jobs.          
ELECTRIC AND FLOORING 1 - 3 0 - 2 weeks - The electric and flooring will be scheduled approximately 1 - 2 weeks following  
  days following Room the erection of your sunroom.  You must be present for the installation  
  Erection of the electric so we can access your electrical panel and circuit  
  breaker.  Prior to this installation, you should purchase a hugger fan  
  (a fan without a stem) and a small door light.  This light will be mounted on the  
  wall outside of the door.  Please review your contract at this time  
  regarding electrical installation.  You must contract with the  
  electrical crew for any additional work, which would include   
  circuits for hot tubs, space heaters or airconditioners.   
  Items such as these require dedicated circuits  
                       
WALK-THRU 1 Hour At the time the installer - The crew leader will request your presence on the job at the completion    
  puts up the room  of the room erection state for a walk-thru.  The purpose of the  
  walk-thru is for you and the crew leader to inspect the job thoroughly.  If you  
  or have any concerns, please bring them up during the walk-thru.  The crew will  
  normally NOT return to the job after the walk-thru.  If you have any  
  at the time the  concerns, please address them with the crew at such time.  The   
  custom glass is installed crew leader will also contact one of our project managers with the purpose of   
          creating a "punchlist" of any items which may need to be completed.    
Total Time to Complete Job   10-15 weeks   Many factors affect the total length of time it takes to complete a job   however   
   on average length of time for jobs in Duval or Clay counties is 10-12 weeks after financing   
  however, it varies  is secured.   Surveys, custom work such as shingles, stucco,  block foundations   
  from job to job   can each add 1-2 weeks.    Summer rains and hurricanes can in some years can   
          sifnificantly delay production schedules.              
INSPECTIONS         Electrical            
  Most municipalities do not require you to be present.  Exceptions are Duval County,  
  Flagler County and City of Palm Coast.    You will be required to be present from the 
  hours of 8 to 5.  Inspectors do not normally tell you when they will show up between   
  these hours.   Duval County has a website (COJ.NET), which has the schedule of   
  inspections for the day and gives some idea of timeframes of inspections.    
  Please remember PHI has no control over inspectors or timing  
  of inspections.  
  Final Inspection  
  You do not need to be present, but inspector must have access to your backyard   
          and sunroom.  Some inspectors will not enter a fenced backyard if a dog is unleashed
REVIEW OF TIMES HOMEOWNER MUST BE PRESENT ON THE JOB                  
  1. Engineering Remeasure and Contract Review.  
  2. Electrical Installation.   Duval Count requires someone present for electrical   
  inspection also.  
        3. Walk-thru following completion of sunroom.
